Use this worksheet to give kids practice with correctly adding stems to notes. You’ll want to review the stem rules and then give them the worksheet and let them race to the top.

Using the worksheet is simple. Just print it out and ask the child to add stems to all the notes. I like to make it a race- either against the clock or another student- because it makes the activity more fun.
