Ear Training Worksheet: Name that Interval

ear training songs Interval recognition can be a snap with the help of some fun mnemonics.

Associating an interval with a familiar song is a powerful ear training aid. This technique is even more potent when you throw in visual aids.

I drew some pictures to associate each interval with a song. The cartoons are called Intervaltoons (TM) and they’ve been super effective with my students.

Today I’m sharing a worksheet that you can print out to use with your child or your students to help them master four intervals. The worksheet features four of the Intervaltoons (TM). I hope you’ll give it a try and let me know how it goes.
