Kids Can Create Extraordinary Things

by Kristin

I’d love to share with you two compositions by kids from my studio.

Butterfly Dragon

Frog Pond
Frog Pond

You can hear the compositions by clicking on the play button below.

Aren’t those marvelous? I regret that the recording isn’t better. Their toddler brother was present and he was not happy that he wasn’t allowed to play with his noisy toy! It was distracting for the kids as they played, but hopefully you can look past that and still hear the beautiful music.

I was so impressed as I watched these little hands move all over the keyboard. They can easily move the left hand between different positions to create sounds that are more complex and engaging. I certainly couldn’t do that at their age! These kids really understand how to create music.

These kids began lessons less than two years ago, when they were ages 6 and 4. We began right away to learn scales and chords with my system “Piano Scales Make Piano Magic.” I am so pleased with their progress, and so are they! I wish you could have seen their enormous grins after they finished performing their compositions.

Kids really are capable of extraordinary things. The right guidance is all it takes to get kids creating their own beautiful compositions.

What extraordinary things have you seen kids accomplish? Do you have any feedback for these kids? I know they would love to hear from all of you!

These were wonderful! I had to laugh when the toddler started crying. Isn’t that typical when the record button is pushed. Ha! Ha! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, Leia and Jennifer. I know the kids will love to hear your kind words. Yes… it always does seem like something happens as soon as we hit record, lol!
